Eve Lom Rescue Mask Review

We all have different skincare routines which is great because it is all about finding what is good for you. There's no universal; match-made in heaven.. unfortunately!
As a part of my skincare regime I treat myself to a deep cleanse once a week. Sometimes once a fortnight. The amount of TLC my skin needs really varies. Which could be blamed on my combination skin?
For the past couple of months I have been reaching out to Evelom's Rescue Mask for my deep cleanse.

This face mask is described as a "weekly complexion booster and emergency treatment for sluggish, stressed-out skin" After using it I am satisfied with the results every time. I love that it is clay based and I'm always left feeling like I've treated my skin. Now although I have enjoyed this rescue mask I have found 2 slight draw backs but not enough of a problem for me to stop using it.
The first being the scent, now I am not one to sniff my nose up at smells and find it hard for a product to offend me. But I've taken quite a dislike to the scent on this one as it is quite overpowering in my opinion. I find it very medicinal. My second qualm is that on the back of the bottle it says shake well, but I've found that no amount of shaking it mixes the product inside. Each time I use it I find myself having to mix it in my palm before use. As it squirts out with the ingredients separated.

For 50ml this products RRP is £35.00 which I think is a fair price for the results achieved. I have used it a lot already and there is still plenty of product left. A little goes a long way and you're definitely getting your moneys worth with this one.
The smell I can cope with but hopefully Evelom would benefit from making the ingredients separating less as the initial liquid squirt (yes that sounds strange!) isn't really a great feature.
