Metquarter Unwrapped

Kicking off the Christmas excitement, last week Met quarter hosted a wonderful press day showcasing a whole variety of dazzling stock. Met quarter is Liverpool's most stylish shopping mall and they delighted many bloggers with the preview, throughout the day. Of course we were treated to sumptuous nibbles and flutes of bubbly, it really was a privilege to be invited!

The room which hosted the day was beautifully presented. A Christmas tree stood in the window modeling many of the decorations, which are now available at Paperchase. They are are currently on offer at 3 for 2 so they would be a great option to personalise your own tree, to your own choices.

The furniture which complimented the festive vibes were selected from Made.com who produce bespoke, designer furniture and homeware.

Although I should have asked, I was itching to know where the 3D pictures were from, that were hanging on the wall. They are so eye catching and homely.

We were in our element with the style offerings. dresses, jewellery and menswear too. From fabulous high end labels such as Diesel, Armani Exchange, Kurt Geiger mixed in with independent designers including Olivia Divine and Francesca Couture.

We were beyond spoilt with shopping inspiration!

We got one of the first glimpses of Mac's holiday collection, which is out now! I absolutely love the nutcracker design although it is pretty festive, it is also timeless meaning it will see you through Christmas and throughout many other seasons too.

I had my make up done by a make up artist from Mac and was so impressed. Her name was Jane or possibly Jayne and she really helped make my eyes and lips pop, with the use of vampy tones. A woman named Charlotte took over as Jane was due a break, Charlotte finished off my look with glamorous highlighter.

I didn't manage to get good lighting to take many pictures and we were also heading to the Radio City tower, straight after for a view of Liverpool.

I took this picture later on in the day, although it doesn't showcase the make up too well it does show how confident and happy I felt.

A silly one of me and my sister, we went up the tower afterwards with another of our sisters and our nephews. I have since returned with my daughter too and we all thought it was a great experience. Liverpool is overall a great city to visit and you can also maximise your shopping experience and have fun this Christmas!

Thank you to the Metquarter and Carousel PR for a fantastic press day!
I could go on all day about the fabulous brands and designers on offer, however you will have a much better time by visiting and seeing for yourself.
