So much is happening this year leading up to Christmas, there is a fresh kind of excitement oozing out of everyone already and it's still November. I'm loving the buzz and it's encouraging me to get stuck in with my Christmas planning early.
Although the Voodou salons are well known for their creative vibes and experimental hair styles, they have really raised the bar with their Christmas offerings!
In the run up to Christmas they are offering a selection of pretty unique, styling options.
There's ribbons, sparkles, beads galore so if you're looking to impress this December, you won't be disappointed by their fabulous selection of hair designs.
During the evening we were all treated to one of hairstyles on their poster display. Now, although I adore the glitter roots, I chose the ribbon braid instead because I wasn't going out afterwards and I didn't want to stand out too much on my way home. However, if I was going out I would definitely rock the glitz!
Tom, my hair stylist worked wonders on my hair and I was literally SO impressed with his client care. Although the room was packed with chatty bloggers, some of which were waiting to be styled by him next, he still managed to stay cool and totally focused on making sure that I was completely happy with my hair.
I didn't feel rushed in anyway and even though my hair is naturally super fine he managed to back comb it like nobody's business! Book in with him if you can because your hair will 100% get the TLC it deserves.
While I was getting my hair worked on, I also had a lovely chat with another member of staff regarding the treatments which are available for fine hair. One of them was called Cerafill Defy, so this may be worth a try in future.
I thought the store was so versatile, because they have so many options available, stock wise. Its a dream!
Redken are heavily used in the salon and along the high end products is also a range from independent brand Hippy Club. While I was at Voodou, I got to speak to the owner all about the brand, their ethics and history. Which was quite insightful. I couldn't resist their deal on the night, which was a dry shampoo and hair trinket for £10. I've used the dry shampoo quite a lot already because not only is it great between washes but it also helps give me a little more volume even when my hair is freshly washed.
Hippy club offer a selection of hair extensions, festival or neutral style trinkets and more.. so do check them out by clicking here.
Among all of that, I also got to spend time with my sister, mingle with lots of fellow bloggers and fabulous goody bag too. Suffice to say we all had an amazing night and the event was perfectly composed by the marketing team! Thanks so much to everyone at Voodou Liverpool for the evening.
